More than a one-day event, Boot’N & Shoot’N aims to make a lasting impact on the veteran community. Each year features a memorial tribute to fallen service members, with past honorees including Chris Kyle, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty. In addition to funds raised for charity partners, two mortgage-free home grants have been given to deserving military families and hundreds of veterans have attended the event free of charge thanks to sponsor gifts.

Plant Your Flag Event

This brief video highlights our 2021 Plant Your Flag event honoring honoring our veteran community. The Mohegan Sun Hotel and Convention Center was packed with members of our community, family and friends, veterans, real estate professionals and members of the active military and law enforcement communities. Local veteran charities shared their missions and our keynote speaker and US Marine Corps Veteran Amos Benjamin shared his story of hope and what it meant to him to own a piece of the land he defended.

Benchmark is proud to partner with The Brain Treatment Foundation. The Brain Treatment Foundation is the primary beneficiary for our annual Boot’n & Shoot’n event. The money we raise for the center goes towards scholarships to give a veteran two weeks of intensive treatment, care, and rehabilitation.

Brain Treatment Foundation is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support for brain health initiatives relating to treatment, rehabilitation, research and public education.

Brain Treatment Foundation is proud to support both past and present members of America’s Armed Forces.  There is a significant need for safe and effective treatment of Traumatic Brain Injury and Post-Traumatic Stress where poly-pharmacy and neglect have no place.

The goal of Brain Treatment Foundation is to partner with treatment providers and other organizations to restore hope and provide support for service members suffering from combat incurred Traumatic Brain Injury and/or Post-Traumatic Stress and their families. The founders firmly believe in collaboration, sharing data and uniting for a purpose larger than those served by each individual organization.  Through treatment, rehabilitation, research and public education, Brain Treatment Foundation seeks to become an active agent of change in the world of brain health.

We are honored to work with the military members of this nation and will constantly strive to maintain that privilege through ethical and honest practices, while keeping the best interest of those we serve as our compass.
